September 27th – 28th, 2014
Parade Starts from the school at 10:00am! If you’re a part of the parade, please line up at the Fair Grove High School at 9:00am. Anyone is welcome to be in the parade, free of charge; no registration necessary, just be at the high school at 8:45am. Items can be given out during the parade, but for the safety of the children and to not scare the horses, no throwing of items is allowed.
Along with Saturday’s parade (starting at 10am), over 300 arts & crafts, food, and fundraising booths will be set up for your perusing pleasure. Country music and dancing will also be on scene to keep you entertained! There is no entrance fee to experience Fair Grove heritage days.
Many of the activities take place on the grounds of the Wommack Mill in Fair Grove. The district park is also used for antique tractor competition and pony rides. Parking for the event will cost you a few dollars, unless you get there before the parade and know the town well enough to find free parking. If you do pay for parking in the lots around highway 65, trolleys will be available to transport you to the festival, just a short 1/2 – 1 mile down the road.
Need a Booth?
The Fair Grove Historical Preservation Society currently has a waiting list for adding new vendors. Fill out an application, but don’t send a check yet. They usually fill spaces up to the date of the festival. Remember to send in photos of your work with your application.
Schedule of Events, Activities and Musical performances will be posted as the date approaches.
